Russell Sawyer has been playing semi-professionally for 9 years. His sound is distinctive and reminiscent of a semi-truck driving through Kansas on a dirt road with 2 chickens, 1 horse, a case of beer, a bottle of Jack, and a pack of cigs in the back. Nestled beside him always, is his 6-string and... Hell, I don't even know what country music is anymore or whether he plays Country. He just hopes that you might listen to what he is tryin to say. His songs have a somber note and at times are aggressive towards heartbreak. |
